We assist franchisors recruit franchisees, through a stringent vetting and qualifying process. We are also involved in the recruitment, or merger of senior partners in professional services firms. Often businesses grow through acquiring senior partners as opposed to buying businesses. We assist firms grow through the acquisition of people in the following industries:

Our Recruitment Process

 

Gaining an Understanding
We know that understanding your culture is as critical to finding the right fit with your organisation as the skill set itself. We therefore take the time to really get to know you and your organisation, enabling us to select the most suitable candidates.

Understanding Your Requirements
Define, discuss and agree on the selection criteria to be used in the assignment and agree on the level of engagement. Prepare an Assignment Brief which will include the skill set the applicant will need to have, their experience and details on the role, such as salary and benefits.

Database & Network Search
SME Business Sales searches it’s database and professional networks for suitable candidates

Advertising
If the right candidate is not on our database, we will then advertise the position on job sites such as Seek.com and if appropriate in the printed press.

Interview
We interview all perspective candidates face-to-face, unless restricted by distance. We spend approximately 1 hour with each perspective candidate to ensure that they meet the requirements set out in the job description and that they – in our opinion – will fit in your organisations culture.

Short Listing
After the interview stage, the most suitable candidates will be short-listed and presented to you.

Arranging Interviews
We liaise with the selected candidates to arrange interviews at your convenience, ensuring they are fully briefed about the exact nature of the position and your company’s background and culture.

Reference Checks
We will thoroughly check the candidates work history by speaking directly with their former line managers. Detailed references will be supplied for all candidates.

Psychometric Testing
Psychometric testing can be arranged upon request

Offer & Acceptance
Following selection we assist with the negotiation of offers right through to the successful completion of the placement.

Aftercare
Our aftercare process is something we pride ourselves on at SME Business Sales. During the first three to six months we are in regular contact with both our candidates and clients to ensure the placement is going well for both parties. If we detect any concerns during this critical on-boarding stage, we will be in contact with our clients to discuss in further detail and will also make ourselves available for group conversations either over the phone or in person.
